There is no garbage or recycling collection on Department of Sanitation holidays
FOR ALL RESIDENTS:
NORMAL GARBAGE: (non-recyclables)
- All garbage MUST BE tied, sealed & securely bagged to prevent dripping or leaking onto the carpeting & placed in appropriate bins.
PAPER/CARDBOARD:
- Cardboard boxes and containers shall be broken down, placed in appropriate bin.
CANS / BOTTLES:
- Please rinse cans and bottles before placing them in the appropriate binRecycling bins are for disposing clean cans/plastics or paper products only.
Recycling is the law in New York City. All residents must separate recyclable items from the rest of their trash and comply with all applicable recycling regulations. Failure to comply with applicable recycling/garbage regulations, may result in violations from the City imposing fines and/or other penalties which will be passed on to the offending unit owner(s) as additional maintenance.
